I am all about switching all my products over to the most healthy and organic I can get. I did some research on shampoos and other products and these particular shampoos by Giovanni are some that I found that are paraben free, no sodium lauryl sulfate and free of many other chemicals found in common salon products as well as drug store ones... When you put these chemicals on your hair/skin, they are absorbed straight into your bloodstream without filtering of any kind, going directly to your organs. It may only be a little bit at a time, but over time these accumulate and can cause some serious harm to your body. This particular brand you can find at Whole Foods and is not too badly priced. I believe I paid $7.99 for the shampoo and conditioner each... check it out. I love it. If you do not want to try this kind, at least try to be more aware of the chemicals that are in your hair care, face care and body products. Read labels, and if you do not know what a particular ingredient is or what it does, take a few moments and look it up. You only have one body, why not take care of it?
