I am all in for honoring & respecting servants of God. I make it clear to our people all the time how to relate to servants of God......My frustration is simply this....all our spiritual conversations cannot be centered around how to treat the man of God As servants of God we knew what we were signing up for....The bible have countless examples of what servants of God will have to go through & endure In fact Jesus gave us a guarantee in Mark 6:4 Then Jesus told them, A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his relatives and his own family. Instead of spending so much time teaching congregants how to treat spiritual leaders we should now shift to building strong leaders who can remain faithful to the call and serve with great conviction even in the midst of great dishonor.....a mature leader spends less time convincing the masses how they should treat him and more time being true to the call in spite off......
