I am almost done reading Nathaniel Philbricks Mayflower and I have - TopicsExpress

I am almost done reading Nathaniel Philbricks Mayflower and I have learned so much about this time period from when our Pilgrim Ancestors arrived to King Philips War. I have also been pleasantly surprised to find things about my ancestors. Like there was a letter written by my 9th Great Grandfather Major William Bradford to my 8th Great Grandfather Pastor John Cotton, Jr. who was the Minister for Plymouth during the King Philips War. Then today I just read how my 8th Great Grandfather John Cotton Jr. led the congregation in prayer when they captured Philip and brought him back to Plymouth. There is a memorial stone to Pastor John Cotton Jr. in Burial Hill but according to Find A Grave he is buried in Charleston, South Carolina. Here is a picture of the Memorial Stone for my 8th Great Grandfather that is located in Burial Hill.
