I am also at Husky sunrise. I would have to say the TFWS percentage in the iron dept is about 60 %. There are about 84 IWs on the time sheet and only about 30 something Canadians. I would have to say its the same in the other crafts. Job is slowing down some , lots of Pipe work left. Saipem has bee cutoff by most of there suppliers from lack of payment, we cant get any supplies like steel, we been needing W 150 for ever now they say they gonna pay cash but that was too much, etc. Lot of BS on the job , very populated with in experienced hands, there is only 4-5 of us reseal certified and only a hand full of good hands. Most of the TFWS are from poland, Portugal and Italy, a lot of the IWS permits go dead in about a month and none of them can pass the test I am sure of it.Welding foreman signed off on some TFWs to take there CBS and CBS sent letter stating that TFWS are not allowed or welcome to take the CWB test and now the Gov. Is auditing there payroll records and time sheets.
