I am amazed! I took David to Target to shop with his birthday money from grandparents. I let him manage it in his pocket. When we got to the register to buy his new, plush Creeper (Minecraft toy), he was missing a $20 bill. Waves of disappointment and Mommy failure washed over me as we retraced our steps to no avail. Why did I let him carry his own money, I thought. The customer service rep showed great compassion as I left my name and number at the counter, but I had little hope. On the way to school, I opened my heart to God, You take good care of David and I. When I got home, I found that I had a message from Target that they found the $20 bill. I am thankful that I live in a town where someone would turn in found money! I am thankful that my local Target would believe my word and turn the money over to me! I am thankful that my God loves me and my son, to return lost birthday money! =)
