I am among those who complain about the violence and the uncertainties of our world. But one thing is clear: no individual can change the world, we can change ourselves but not the entire world at a go. Jesus wants us to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world (Matthew 5:13,14). Salt prevents decay and light disperses darkness. If each of person makes effort to be true to this maxim, our world will become transformed. After all it was only Mother Teresas care for the poor that really alerted the whole world to the cries of the neediest and most vulnerable of our society. I pray that God uses us in a special way to make our world a better place. Amen.
