I am amused by the raging debate about burqa on FB walls of some of my friends (predominantly male). I am afraid many seem to be fixated with the notion of burqa being the symbol of Islam. To me this is as ridiculous as positioning 786, long beard and new moon/star as the emblem of religion. If there is anything that epitomises Islam, it is the idea of justice and equality. I believe it is these two cardinal principles that make Islam relevant to our age, and nothing else.
