I am an American by choice, I am a son, I am a brother, I am a military service member, I am a man who has lost complete faith in the system, when the system betrayed, slandered, and libeled me. -Christopher Dorner -- In light of societys addressing racial-oriented violence between police officers and citizens, I saw many news outlets referring to an FBIs release of a report regarding police mortality for the year 2013. Most news outlets stated that, unfortunately, the report doesnt state either the race of the police officer killed, nor the race of the perpetrator. But this is 2015, so how hard can it be to find this information? The death of a police officer is not considered a small happening. I know that the issue at hand is police brutality which may be racially-oriented, but I wanted to see whats going on in the other direction as well. Im only halfway through the list, and unfortunately, the identity of two of the perpetrators that killed police officers was never officially released. But one person really stood out: Christopher Dorner. The interesting thing about Dorner is that, not long before he killed some officers in California (and took his own life), he: -WAS a police officer, for the LAPD -Who reported police brutality to his chain of command -Was subsequently framed-up by his department as a shitty cop, and then -Separated from the force That should tell you something; of course, not about all officers, but about the gross managerial negligence, low standards, and ruthlessness of some precincts to maintain or dismiss their own warped behaviors. laist/2013/02/07/christopher_dorners_manifesto_in_fu.php
