Following TCL over just the past few weeks woke me up to subconscious prejudices I had regarding the workings of Christian faith on the United States political system. I never overtly believed that the unconditional love of Christ could breed evil, however I came to recognize my silent bias. What I discovered was that my bias was created by messages of fear and hate born from right wing political propaganda, rather than messages of hope and love from true teachings.
