I am asking any of you who can or are willing to pray, light candles, cast protection, or do whatever it is you personally believe in for the Younis family in Gaza. My good friend Mohammed Younis has been giving me updates on their daily life since their flat was bombed just a week and a half ago. He has been a friend and confidant through the loss of my son, my divorce, the custody battle over my older children, my entire illness form symptom #1 to diagnoses to now. It may be selfish of me, but I do not even want to think of a world that my friend is not in. He had a chance to leave, but his father is very ill, and cannot get to shelters ect on his own, so Mohammed carries him. He understandably would not leave his family, as I would not leave mine were the tables turned. For now, the entire family remains safe, but in a war zone that could change at any minute. They are all but stuck there, and I do not know what else I can do aside from pray, and cast, and beg the fates to keep them from harm. My heart is broken right now. I am in no way attempting to spark a political debate, I am simply requesting assistance. Matthew 18:20 tells us or where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. I am simply asking that two or more gather to ask God for my friends protection.
