I am asking for fervent prayer for baby Arden Willow who was born yesterday with a birth defect called CDH~ (a hole in the diaphragm, the muscle under the lungs that is responsible for breathing, that allows organs from the abdomen to move into the chest). The grandmother of this child is a dear friend of mine and tells me that this defect was diagnosed during the pregnancy but it isnt known at this time whether this is the only problem or if the diaphragm is missing altogether. She is also missing one lung and has some issues with her heart. This is the second child her daughter birthed that has been born with this defect; sadly, her first child did not survive and succumbed to shortly after birth. Arden Willow is fighting hard to live and she and her family need our prayers. My friend, her grandmother, believes mightily in the power of prayer and has recently given her life to the Lord again. I ask for healing prayers for this child, for strength and steadfast faith in the Lord for my friend and her family, no matter what the outcome is. The Lord knows best.
