I am asking this for a friend in FL. Her 1st grade daughter has been diagnosed with moderate to severe dyslexia. She attends a private, Christian school that uses Abeka and Bob Jones curriculum. Shes been referred to a therapist, twice a week, at an exorbitant rate, and would like to do whatever she can at home to help, as well. She was wondering if anyone is familiar with the Barton reading system, and what your thoughts might be. Any additional feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
