I am at a loss as what to say really after reading the update on Claire. It is shocking that any professional should think that this kind of treatment will mean she is better. As a person on the spectrum myself, I feel worried for Claires sanity. I do not get the kind of mentality that believes it is OK to keep doing this kind of thing, just because there is no service, well with the money they are spending keeping Claire in Brighton, they could employ someone who could advise families who just need support to have their loved one at home. No service and no money may be the issue as they see it, but how many people are in the same situation in the same area, and how much are they spending to do something that is not wanted in the first place. I would be horrified if anyone decided to do this to me. I sit here feeling frustrated because these stories and lives affected are to many and too often. This is not acceptable anywhere but to allow this to go on in Wales, which has an Autism stratergy, I would see it as more so
