I am at the ER with my mom this morning. I was not surprised when I was awakened by a phone call from the nursing home saying she had fever and they were sending her. When I visited yesterday evening she was fairly alert but her breathing seemed labored, and when I was putting lotion on her arms, she acted as though it was painful. Shes been developing more congestion in her chest for a while I think. This morning she actually seems a little more like herself, but the poking and prodding has just begun. My experience says that things will get worse before they get better. Mother has been calling on the name of Jesus, and He is with us!! Loving His sweet presence right here and right now.
