I am back in the Fe after a week long road trip. Must say that the US of A is a large and diverse country. I am so blessed to have done this road trip with my girl who is also my best buddy and race mate. We (Franny, Tim and I) drove about 3,000 miles round trip, consumed about 18 1/2 beers, two corrots and 8 lbs of beef. We stayed at one hotel, 5 nights at the track and one in the truck. We escaped the tornados on Sunday and had NO flat tires or break-downs. I am sitting at the shop writing this and thinking: I have to go back to Barber to redeem myself, go faster and more bold around the corners. God willing there will always be next time. Thank you Frances Sayre for being my soul-mate, best buddy and racing friend!
