I am behind the no child left behind idea ESEA im sure it has been extremely beneficial for many many students. However, the flip side of that coin is that those children who are advanced are in fact being LEFT BEHIND. This is a huge flaw! I do not push Riley farther then what she is capable of. I allowed her to set her own bar and I ask a little more then that. So that she will be challanged, which is when she really thrives. I understand me taking on the public school system is a joke, so I am curious do any of my teacher or mother friends know of some websites that we can do with her here at home to feed her little incredible mind? My fear is that if she is not being challanged she will begin to start developing a lazy attitude toward her studies. Im pretty worked up if you cannot tell... I dont know what to do, any advice at all will be so appreciated.
