I am beside myself and am trying to bit my tongue. Before I speak I am going to look at myself first. I look at what I spend MY money on....and even though saddles, fishing rods, car and truck parts, tools, tough outdoor warm clothing, good food for cooking at home, hay etc....may seem a bit much to those....they ALL serve a purpose in my life. I constantly see women spending hundreds upon thousands of dollars for the simple purpose of looking good......or simply the reason of HAVING that item as a status symbol. I am angered inside for I dont know why...the fact that maybe these women THINK they need these items to feel okay or be someone special. The $1000 Hand bags, the $8000 wedding ring, the $500 hair job every month, the fantastic glittery nails (I have no idea what a manicure is worth), $100 for a damn scarf, $300 for a pair of heels that do not protect you from the elements but will just break your ankle. I am disgusted that these name brands feed off the young....for they will pay ANY price for that item, and be accepted. I guess I feel more sad than anything. Sad that these people feel they need these things in life to survive. You take all that beauty away one day and what do you have? An empty soul.....
