I am beside myself right now......very upset with my place of employment......I have worked there for many years. It was a wonderful place so proud to say I work at.......then as always things changed. As all situations do, change is a process of things to come. Then there are other changes that make no sense AT ALL....I realize that hands are tied with overall guidelines but we are the people that are the glue to the hospital the nurses the front line soilders of health care......I like change, stir it up a bit....anyone that knows me will say yes Sue likes change and will be the first to try or work anywhere. Then there changes that make as much sense at our government at this time..... I worked my first day yesterday on orientation as a staff nurse on the acute side.....my heart bleeds for these warriors of care. They are stressed to the max, unhappy, feels unappreciated. These ladies and gentleman of bedside care are cut to the bone. Words cant even explain the overall feel of the enviroment. My second day of orientation....yea orientation, I was RTed (which means census is low and nurses well be called off to stay home)......If anyone can explain to me why they decided to have me stay home during my educaiton please let me know.... I have to vent rant and rave in a professional manner..............but bottom line. I am P........ off!!!!!!!!!
