I am beyond excited about the plan that Rob and I are sticking to. Even though we dont have a solid plan, our first plan is to save money so that we can make an actual plan. It takes faith to get through trials and with our faith comes opposition. So while we are trying to save, of course we get hit with all sorts of money-costing issues. His truck has a major problem with the seals and was pouring oil out (but the mechanic gave us a plan to delay the costs for several months), my car is having surgery today to replace a pulley and get some other urgent repairs done (which we would not have seen had we not been matter of factly discussing cars with the mechanic who was looking at his truck), apparently our prescription plan has an annual maximum so now his prescriptions are costing us a whole bunch of money (maybe its time for that surgery hes been putting off?), and a few other things that are slightly uncomfortable. But instead of doing what we normally have done - oh well, we cant save so we might as well spend - we have decided to buckle down even more. Food storage is our go-to source for all meals. We will just cut back even more - we can do this, we can stick to our goal and make it happen. And Im beyond excited about our attitude on sticking with that savings plan. As long as we have each other, and with the Lord, all things are possible :))
