I am completely at a loss as to what to do with this bloody cat of - TopicsExpress

I am completely at a loss as to what to do with this bloody cat of mine that is peeing everywhere inside. They have clean kitty litter trays, he heads towards the tray and then decides to just go elsewhere and pee on the carpet. It is not a matter of putting a tray where he is doing it because he is doing it in several places including on the lounge a couple of time. He knows he has done the wrong thing when he does it because he looks at me kinda scared and runs (I only ever spray him with the water pistol or yell at him for doing it). He does not have an infection nor is he sick in any way, he is just being a bastard. I have tried spraying citronella, pepper, orange peel etc in all the places he has peed so far but as I said earlier he just finds somewhere else to do it. Does anyone have any other ideas? PLEASE NOTE I CANNOT afford expensive fixes such as Feliway which may not work anyway.
