I am considering not posting my mission logs on my personal page but instead I think I will do it on this one, Any thoughts. and please be sure I included a P90X video advertisement for everyone to enjoy, and please consider visiting my web site, and I thank you in advance for your support. Mission Log – P90X Day 4 Mission Statement: This is the voyage of P90X, its 90 day mission is to become stronger, to push myself past the point of exhaustion and to make my body do things I never thought possible. To boldly go where I never dared before! Mission Log: I am really liking this program so far, except for Abs Ripper X LOL, But I will come to love that one also in due course. Today was suppose to be Yoga, but because it is the longest one in the program, I decided to do that one on a Saturday and Saturdays on Thursdays, and todays routine was Kenpo, And it was a lot of fun, Exercising fun you ask? Oh yea, Take frustrations out on this one, it seems that a lot of the moves we are doing are similar to what I do in my Karate Class, however there are a few things different. In some of the moves they say keep both arms up as if your like a boxer, what I did was maintain the position I was taught, It did not take away from the exercise, but it helps me reinforce what I’ve been taught, Whenever I was able to make an adjustment like this to better maintain my Karate training, I did so. One thing I was happy to see was that we had over ten minutes of stretching, and let me tell you something! I really needed it. I had to make fun of myself as I was learning all new stretch exercises and it made me think back to when I first started Insanity which has a lot of stretching in it, I thought back then that There would be no way I could do some of them, Well guess what! I Did! Just like now I am learning new stretches and thinking “You have to be kidding! You want me to do what with that and put it over here! No way” but in time I will be able to do them, and as I was doing the stretches I kept thinking oh this hurts so good! Some of the moves I did good at, some are new and I had to get the sequence of punches and kicks right but overall, I really had fun with todays routine, I worked up a good sweat and my body felt not as sore when I was done. Also completed My Katas 1-6 and sparring training, I chose not to do my standard class exercise routine today as a few of the moves could have aggravated my hernia as to which I am being careful to make matters worse , I think a couple of more days and I should be fine….I Hope!
