I am consulting a company and wonder what input you recommend I should give them? Glutes-legs-core training: Its with this philosophy: Mix appearance training with functional with performance. The exercise styles need not be different - ever notice the great bods athletes have? They get that by training for performance. Train like an athlete and accomplish ALL of your goals - move better, expand your function, improve your performance, achieve the appearance you desire. I very much believe in the efficacy of this specific training, for athletes, for active aging, for injury prevention, and for the appearance goals most clients have. And I am an advocate of the effectiveness of Lines Of Resistance versus limiting our benefits to the convenience of lifting weights against gravity - the peak gains come from also heavy loading against movement patterns the bodys muscles were designed to do during human motion, and this can only be overloaded with functional Lines Of Resistance to build on the base we can achieve with weights and make strength HIGH TRANSFER. I am consulting a company who makes strength and power equipment for athletes based on my training paradigm and exercise methodology. Now, after years of requests by the many desiring the body of an athlete, and some very interesting private messages received from fitness models haha (thanks for the pics!), I have advised this company to expand their market to everyone who exercises to reach a goal - since they have the very best leg/glute machine ever. So they are entering the train-for-appearance market with their most popular piece. Confident it will also build function and transfer to performance. Yet know most folks primary motivation for exercising, so tailoring marketing to meet them where they are at. Their machine and the training program I designed for themtargets glutes, legs and core like no other strength machine. And was originally designed as a glute / leg builder for athletes of multi directional sports who must run, lunge and stride in many directions, always pushing off with the glutes and then also stabilizing deceleration with the glutes. The first iteration of their web site is near ready - but - has plenty opportunity for additions and changes. Please tell me - what would you like to see on a web site dedicated to developing the glutes - for fitness appearance, for sport performance, for daily function.
