I am continually awed by the goodness and faithfulness of God. Twice I have been reminded today of how God will look after us in what seems like little things. Some of you know that our car was in the shop for some possible major issues with the engine and transmission. Of course we were not looking forward to the possibly huge repair cost, but we gave it all to God and knew that no matter the cost He would provide. Well today we got the repair cost and the issues that the found and it was no where near what we were expecting, the machanic was even surprised that he could not find more, lol. Not only do I feel like God healed our van but we had no problem paying for the repairs with cash in hand. God provides like no other! To top it all off, after Quintyns soccer practice this evening I went to Wal-Mart for the rest of this weeks groceries. After shopping and putting the food in the van I put the cart in the cart return area, got in the van and drove away, not realizing I left my purse with EVERYTHING in it in the cart. After driving all the way home I looked to find my purse was not in the seat next to me. Needless to say I started freaking out but quickly took a deep breathe, pulled back out of the driveway to head back to Wal-Mart and started praying and pleading to God for His angels to look over my purse until I got there. Believe me, the praying didnt stop. Well I got there and my purse was no where to be seen in any carts throughout the parking lot so I ran, more like sprinted, in the store and asked the first guy with a reflective vest on if he saw anything but the answer was no. My heart dropped. As I took another deep breathe my angel spoke from behind me and asked if I was missing something. I turned and said yes, my purse. I knew she could see the worry on my face because she put me at ease and said that she and her soon to be sister in law had it. I wanted to cry with relief but all I could do is follow her and say thank you, thank you, thank you!!! These two ladies not only saw my purse in the cart and took for say keeping, but found numbers to call in order to get ahold of me to let me know they had it. I truly believe they were angels sent by God to yet again prove that He is bigger then anything we could ever imagine. On days, especially like these, I cant imagine not believing that my God is the one true God, who will forever take care of His children. I am indeed not worthy of Gods grace but because of the sacrifice He made I am a partaker of His grace and mercy.
