I am convinced that the ALG Defense QMS Trigger (Quality Mil-Spec) is one of the best deals in the AR-15 world. I just purchased my 5th one for around $45. A typical FCG costs around $35-$45 and quality FCGs, like Colt, are hard to find and much more expensive. With the ALG QMS you get top-notch quality, reliability, and the trigger to trigger consistency that comes from the tuning work that they do. Much of what we typically think of as reliability as it pertains to the AR-15 happens in the upper receiver but the lower receiver should not be overlooked. Most of the reliability problems I have seen caused by lower receiver parts stem from breakage and that breakage is largely confined to the FCG. Replacing the FCG with quality parts from a manufacturer with a proven track record can go a long way toward insulating you from lower receiver reliability problems. The quality of lower parts kits varies so greatly that I usually piece them together myself or just buy a White Oak Armory LPK less the trigger so I can add the trigger of my choosing.
