I am deeply humbled by the words of my brother Jorden Goss: John, as a long time atheist and advocate for scientific progression. I highly respect your determination and faith for your God. You are a good example of what this world needs when it comes to love and peace and a brotherhood of man. Gandhi once said that Christians were not Christlike. You have single handedly disproven that statement with your journey. Keep fighting for what you believe in like I do. It has been said that The single greatest cause of atheism in the world today is Christians who acknowledge Jesus with their lips, then walk out the door and deny Him by their lifestyles. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable. Well, if this is true, then maybe the inverse is just as true. Maybe the greatest evidence is favor of Christianity in the past and today are Christians who are actually Christ-like, who confess Jesus with their life-styles as well as their words. Maybe that is what an unbelieving world finds simply believable. Here is my prayer to believers: Why do you call me, Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say? Luke 6:46 Live like Christ. Love like Christ. Confess Jesus with your lives, not just your words. Would you change the world? Start by changing yourself. Seek ye the Kingdom first And all else will follow. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:35 Here is my prayer to non-believers: Though the cities start to crumble and the towers fall around us, the sun is slowly fading and its colder than the sea. It is written: From the desert to the mountains they shall lead us, by the hand and by the heart, they will comfort you and me. In their innocence and trusting they will teach us to be free. For the children and the flowers are my sisters and my brothers, their laughter and their loveliness would clear a cloudy day. And the song that I am singing is a prayer to non-believers, come and stand beside us we can find a better way. Rhyme and Reason by John Denver. Come and stand beside us. We can find a better way.
