I am definitely feeling for those in Calgary. Last night I watched the Calgary news. I cannot believe all the flooding devastation there. I checked and Calgary is way above average for rainfall this month (144.2 mm at YYC as of yesterday), some areas over 300-400 mm this month. There is more expected throughout the remainder of June. Something the city does not need right now. Southern Alberta is a mess all the way to High Level, and west to Canmore! In fact I saw where I used to hangout and live, its all flooded there. Stampede Park and the Saddledome is a washout! Not good for the Calgary Stampede in early July. This reminds me of the overflowing from the heavy rains in June 2005. This June 2013 is 4 times worse! I hope those that live there, including my friends are OK and everything will be back to normal soon. This is ironic because Alberta is the "dry" province in Canada!
