I am delighted to see €183,313 in funding is being provided to 11 Child Care Facilities in Clare under the 2014 Early Years Capital programme. This funding has been awarded to community and not-for-profit childcare services that applied for funding under the Early Years Capital programme. The Children Care facilities to benefit are The West Clare Early Years Care & Education Services Sunflowers Kildysart, West Clare Early Years Care & Education Services Tir Na nÓg Lissycasey, the West Clare Early Years Care & Education Services Rí Rá Grace Street, Kilrush, West Clare Early Years Care & Education Services Seahorses Kilkee, SPRAOI Miltown Malbay and District Community Playgroup Ltd, Clare Family Resource Centre Watery Road, Ennis, Ruan Community Childcare Ruan, Obair Community Creche Ennis Road, Newmarket on Fergus, Inagh Ark Childcare Inagh, Brigits Hearth Raheen Woods Estate, Tuamgraney and the Loughgraney Kids Corner Flagmount in Caher. This funding will be used for repair and maintenance works, and to upgrade current facilities and is good news for the local families whose children have been using these facilities.
