I am dismayed by the list of people shortlisted for ward - TopicsExpress

I am dismayed by the list of people shortlisted for ward administrators positions. The vacancies have taken long than any sane person could have expected owing to the roles and significance of the posts in governing the county. The CPSB took time I guess to sift through the application so as to emerge with the cream. What devastate many is one candidate expected to face the panel on 27th January 2015 at 1400hrs. The qualifications are as per the advert a KCSE. This is contrary to specifications of the CPSB which earlier indicated that at least a degree was the qualification. Does it mean that Nyandarua lacks qualified people to take the jobs? The board puts the qualifier at Job Group N which is a senior rank even in the public service. This is an insult to the many applicants with higher qualifications who missed the shortlist. Would it not be good if we are told the number of total applicants who had the minimum? Is it not in order that these applicants including the shortlisted are indicated the ward from which they come from? By not doing this and by recruiting an academic dwarf in a senior admnistrative position, the CPSB fails to perform the very duty it was formed to perform. Something must be done to correct this immoral behaviour.
