I am doing some very thorough testing on several red dot sights - TopicsExpress

I am doing some very thorough testing on several red dot sights using the 25 and 50 yard zero. Primary emphasis is for LE Entry use, along with home defense. It remains a rather frequent argument every time training is attended. Rather than take the easy way out and say what ever works for you several real world situations will be simulated to see if there is any real advantage to either. If nothing else it is an excuse to get quality time with my favorite 300 BLK and keep my CQB skills sharp. Using my EOTech, Aimpoint, Inc. sights (including the T2) and a new Trijicon SRS. All are proven sights deployed in the harshest conditions both in the police, military, and civilian world. Trying to keep things simple I wanted to use a single platform, and the Seekins SBR in 300 BLK seemed the perfect choice. Along with the Gemtech Silencer Sandstorm, a Law Tactical LLC Gen 3 folder was installed. My favorite entry setup using a Daniel Defense fixed front and SureFire, LLC X300 light mounted on the top rail. It provides for low weight, simplicity (no wires) and ambidextrous use. Completed all the testing with the SRS today so I figured some pictures were in order. Enjoy, and stay tuned for more as the configuration changes.
