I am embarrassed - I was calling to check why my bank account was overdrawn (pay pal took money out of a different account than I had thought it was coming from- my computer has been acting strange- hope it is not those downloaded emotions :/ ) and the call transferred over to some promotion for a free cruise in the Bahamas well- I had to pay the $118 for the taxes to hold the spots. But the rest of the cruise if free and I am pretty sure it is legit. I have an old dear friend who lives in Florida and I thought this would be a nice way for us to visit- I can get the time off from work paid- but I would have to cough it up for the plane tickets… My critical voice is berating me, and I am feeling shameful, but maybe I should go on a cruise after all. But if I DID go on a cruise, I would REALLY like to go to Austrailia and I would rather save my money for that… It IS transferable- maybe I can sell it to help pay for a trip to Austrailia? How did I get totally sidetracked on a routine phone call to my bank into suddenly paying for a completely unplanned cruise that I dont know if that is how I want to spend my money? I dont want to tell my friend yet, because (more critical voice) maybe I dont want to see her. We havent hung out in over 10 years and we rarely talk. She sometimes lies about stuff for no apparent reason and she always is trying to make her life seem perfect. Ah! I guess it is time for me to listen to the critical voice module…
