I am emotional this morning.... Last night a friend approached me asking me if I, yes me, could adopt a baby who will be born in March to a mother who is incarcerated. Who me?? I cant adopt a child! My life is crazy busy! Was my response. But I couldnt get this off of my mind... Well, I have another set of friends who is new to foster parenting, with a goal to adopt, who I approached this morning with this information asking if THEY were interested... And guess what??? They said they are interested and want more information! Wahooo!!! God works in mysterious ways! I may not be able to adopt a baby, but maybe, just maybe I can help to connect the dots to keep this child out of the system... *tears*
