I am excited to announce that Risa Jenkins has joined the VOM FASS Houston family. She will be responsible for Marketing and Events at the shop. I look forward to learning from her vast experience in the Food and Beverage industry. Here is bit more about Risa. I grew up in a town filled with Passion - San Antonio - a colorful and vibrant town in love with Food, Spices, and Flamboyance. I embraced that love of Food and Spice with a bit of toned down flamboyance (well sometimes). I married a Military Pilot and therefore was never in one place for very long. This Gypsy wandering exposed me to some very diverse and eclectic cultures which strengthened my already strong Love for the Food and Wine Industry. As a Vagabond I studied Art, Psychology, Business Administration, and of course Food & Wine at each of my temporary destinations. When it came time to put down roots I came home to the City of my Birth Houston, Texas. Its Melting Pot of Cultures from around the Globe drew me in like a Moth to a Flame. I have since had the pleasure to work at some of the very best Wine & Food Establishments in Houston as the Chef/Owner of Vin/Vino Wine Bar and Bistro, Director of Sales, Marketing, & Events at Vino 100 Houston, Wine & Events Specialist at Rattan Pan Asian Bistro, and Wine Broker/Manager at The Tasting Rooms Uptown & River Oaks. I am thrilled to be part of the Vom Fass, Houston Team as we introduce you to the finest culinary oils, exclusive vinegars and spices available and to share some trade secrets on how to use them!
