I am excited to announce that West Ga Speedway will have a new group of management and some new staff for the 2015 Race Season. I do not know who all the new staff will consist of as of now. I was just brought into this as of yesterday, so please bear with me as this comes together. I dont want to post anything I am not certain or clear about. I was asked to join in on the partnership as the promoter for the Track for the 2015 Season along with the New Track Management. In this new agreement there will be some new faces in staff as well as some familiar faces. This is a great opportunity for the track and I am looking forward to being part of the team and hopefully if this works out for the new management they will make a long term commitment. With that being said the new management has asked me to post that the 2015 Rules will be ready for review by the Frostbite. The Frostbite rules will not change. For the frostbite we will be following the same rules for the 2014 Season as orginally posted. The new management feels we should follow what has already been posted for this race. Some of the changes for 2015 you will see, will be increased payouts, the concessions and bathrooms will see some changes and many improvements will be made. On the other side the New Managment insist the track will be run as a professional track. The Rules will be West Ga Speedway Track rules as posted with no exceptions, we will start on time and finish on time. All drivers will be required to wear raceceivers. All drivers will be required to cross the scales prior to the race event, which at the same time will draw for their line up in the nights feature race. Drivers meeting will start at 6:30 pm and hot laps will start at 7:30pm sharp. As each feature race is completed, each driver will cross the scales and be paid immediately following the race, once the tech man clears the class. These are just a few of the changes to be made for the 2015 season. As the rules and documents are finalized I will post them accordingly. As many of you know it takes a lot of money, time and experience to run a good dirt track. There is one person who has this experience and is a vital part to the new managements success for 2015. Sammy Duke will be the Tractor Man as he has always done, he will not be a decision maker for any part of the track, events, rules, etc. We are excited about the upcoming Race season and hope you all will join us for another great season of Dirt Track Racing.
