I am excited to share some important life and ministry announcements with everyone. Firstly I would like to clear up two rumors were triggered by my recent sabbatical during which I consecrated and prayed fervently to hear God as clearly as possible. Firstly, I am not sick. Although I have suffered multiple strokes and endured much adversity over the past 8 years, I am healthier now than ever. Furthermore, I am more inspired, excited and anointed to continue the work that the Lord has called me to do than ever before. I was called to preach when I was 12 years, over a lifetime of ministry to thousands, service to communities around the country and the establishment of over 12 dozen cutting edge ministries and outreaches, I am NOT too tired, NOT to weary and NOT to bored to finish the race, fight the good fight and keep my hand to the plow of the preaching and teaching ministry to which I have been called since I was a young boy. Which bring me to the second item that needs clarification. I am not leaving or retiring as the Senior Pastor of Perfecting Saints Worship Center, a church ministry that I was led by the Lord to establish 18 years ago. Lastly, I have no plans to relocate the Perfecting Saints Church, period. I hope that settles that. Now on to the good news. After a month of seeking the direction from the Lord as to the direction of my life and ministry, the Lord has spoken to with specific instructions as to what to do next. The first thing the Lord has said to me is “STRENGTHEN WHAT REMAINS.” I understand this to mean to strengthen the members and ministry of Perfecting Saints. As result of this word, I held a meeting several weeks ago with some key leaders of the ministry to let them know that I was going to pour everything I have into training and equipping them for the work of the ministry. Perfecting Saints has taken the devil’s best shots and we are still here, still anointed and still on fire with a ministry vision. So the first good news Perfecting Saints, you have a healthy, anointed, committed Senior Pastor, ready to strengthen what remains. The second word that the Lord spoke to my heart is “EXPANSION”: Lengthen your cords. I understood this to mean expand the ministry outreach nationally, through books, training seminars, church media support and ministry leadership coaching. I am pleased to announce that I expect to have my first book published and available to the general public December of 2013 New Year. I am pleased to announce the establishment of Perfecting Seminars and Ministry Coaching. This a ministry that will partner with local ministries to host training seminars for bible teachers, ministers, ministry staff workers and church leaders to equip and prepare them for service in the their local churches through intensive one and two day training seminars. I am also excited to introduce the MYBIZRADIO, the business component of my talents, gifts, training and experience. MYBIZRADIO will offer media production services to churches worldwide. Specifically we specialize in radio broadcast production and internet radio station development for churches, ministries and non-profit organizations. I would like to say something about something more Perfecting Seminars and Ministry Coaching. I am probably more excited about the opportunity to provide personal, ministry and leadership coaching to pastors, churches, ministers, aspiring ministers and aspiring church planters than anything else I’ve ever done. This particular extension of my ministry will afford me the opportunity to reach emerging leaders in the Body for Christ with desperately needed mentoring, coaching and training in practical ministry. I am aware of the tremendous responsibility that launching this level of ministry demands. For this reason, although I am not leaving Perfecting Saints Church as the Senior Pastor, I am accelerating the advancement of several of key leaders into pastoral leadership roles to assist me in the building of the ministry and the fulfillment of the higher call that the Lord has ordained for such a time as this. I will be announcing those appointments within the next 60 days. Additionally, the demands of this elevated level of ministry will require that I spent a significant amount of time either on the road or in the cities where the Lord has directed me to launch the Perfecting Seminars and Ministry Coaching outreach. I will be announcing which cities we’ll be launching our seminars in this month, as I am now consummating partnerships with great churches to co-host these powerful training events. Well, that’s it for now. I‘ll fill the blanks as each ministry component is rolled out. I wanted everyone to know what the Lord is calling me to in this season of my life and ministry. I ask you to pray for me, the ministry and our partners and to watch for our training seminars in your area. Information regarding forthcoming web sites, books, newsletters, and audio and video training products will be soon be available. I appreciate all prayers and support.
