I am extremely proud of my Wesley people both in Dominica and abroad. As I followed the election coverage today, I noticed that Wesley is one of the places where there was no drama and confusion, I think part of the reason was because the choice was so very clear in Wesley. Wesley people have always led the way in being great innovators and thinkers and they have demonstrated their true grit today. Everyone who observed this election knows what we got today, my congratulations to the labour party who have been given a new mandate, a mandate that was given to them in part by people who will be on the plane starting tomorrow, so for the people who are happy that they were able to enslave their brothers and sister and then run back to their places of freedom, I say enjoy your many sleepless nights. To my fellow Wesley people who live away from Dominica and decided that you were not going to allow yourselves to participate in an injustice and so lended your support to the people on the ground instead who overwhelmingly rejected the emptiness of a candidate who had to practice to smile and needed a crash course in kindness and decency, I applaud you. To Mr. Eziekel Bazil, my friend, I congratulate you on your hard work and determination, I especially commend you for the way that you have taken these young people under your wings and have allowed them to grow with you by increasing their self confidence and all round developmental skills, I implore you to continue to fight this good fight and to never give up this cause...I will always continue to be a source that you can always tap into.... God will bless you for your courage and generousity. To my darling cousin Rocsi, and all the youth of Wesley who were involved in this cause, I now your victory is bitter sweet but this is a life lesson that you will learn from, life is made up of small victories intermingled with defeats, what determines the person that you become is how you deal with it, learn from this experience and allow it to make you a stronger, better person... I see great things down the road for all of you. My friends, God is still on his throne, and he is still great, let us continue to beseech him for the protection of our people and our little island.
