I am fascinated by the theory of Littermate Syndrome. I met a woman who had a terrible experience with littermates and it baffled me. I had a trainer flip out when she heard we had littermates, convinced that wed have them euthanized. Rodrigo, Sydney, Scout and Zoey have been the best of friends, the best dogs, and a ton of fun. I dont know if its because weve always done boy/girl, if its the herding breeds that succeed, or if we were just lucky. Twice.
