I am featuring this video clip courtesy of Kristie (Niehaus) Ekstrom. The clips is titled Bus 43 The year was 1990. I spoke with Ralph Revermann this past week and he gave me some of the names of the kids that participated in this lip sync contest that summer. The idea was to give these kids something to do in the summer, to expose them to something new and to have fun. All these kids rode Ralphs bus route to school every day and ended up winning 1st Place at Stearns County talent competition and going on the state competition and took 3 place at State. Ralphs route was Co Rd 168, 410th Street, loop around and back onto Cod Rd 168, cut over onto Co Rd 169 and out onto Co Rd #13 and back to Melrose. Wichmann, Hiltner, Hinnenkamp, Barth, Tschida, Ritter, Petermeier, Buening, Budde, Toenyan, Niehaus. Sorry if we forgot someone. Enjoy this clip of Bus 43 at Stearns County Fair.
