I am feeling very lucky to be here right now. My brakes went out in my van while I was driving on Stevenson Ave. in Iron Mountain. I was coming to the stop light by McDonalds and realized I had no brakes. I had to make a crazy turn into the mall parking lot....jumping the center median in the driveway. I dont know how I managed not to hit anyone. I downshifted to neutral to slow down and finally stop. I was shaking so bad and I actually felt sick to my stomach. I am even more thankful that Lee is alright. I thought I was going to give him a heart attack....or at least set off his defibralator.
