I am finally breaking my silence!!! Last June 21,2014 at around 10 in the evening I parked my SUV (Ford Everest) along E. Rodriguez in front of Trinity University of Asia High School Department, approximately 50 meters from the Barangay Hall. On my part, I know the consequences of parking on dangerous side of the national highway. But since it is just few steps away from the BSDO Outpost and the place is protected with CCTV Camera, I personally take the risks. Unfortunately, at around 5:30 in the morning the next day (June 22, 2014),one of the Brgy Tanod on duty call my attention and told us that my spare tire was rob. We immediately rushed to the place of incident to assess and observe what has happened. It really breaks my heart, when I saw what has happened to my SUV. What was left with us is the car cover and the 3 stud bolts which was left behind my SUV. Since the place is secured with CCTV camera,we checked the recorded copy and learned that the criminals strike at exactly 2:37 in the morning. A car park beside my SUV, and turn the hazard lights on. At first look, you will think that the car is having engine failure but afterwards you will see that there is a man in black shirt,which serves as the groups look out while 2 other member are already detaching the spare tire. At exactly 2:44 in the morning, the crime was finished, the criminals put the spare tire in their car which also serve as their get away vehicle. I hope this incident becomes an eye opener to those who owned SUVs as well as the authorities in charge to prevent crimes in the same manner. Moral Lesson: 1. Be allert and observant!!! Do not take the risks of parking on dangerous places. 2.To the authorities in charge, be vigilant in your roving. Criminals attack in the wee hours of the night (graveyard time) and strikes between 2am to 4am.Please do routine monitoring on the said hours. 3.To the BARANGAY OFFICIALS, I hope this incident serves as a lesson. There should be someone monitoring our CCTV to prevent or atleast catch the criminals on the spot. After all, CCTV Systems were built to monitor all the activities in the area and act as a very successful deterrent to the thieves, certainly making them think twice at the very least.This system makes the investigation process accurate, and the action recorded is a strong evidence . Thru this, justice can be done easily in as early as posible way.... Thank you and may the good Lord bless us all...
