I am forever proud to be a Kapampangan! This week has been a perfect opportunity for me to revisit my roots - my heritage, faith, and the heroism of my forefathers. They say kapampangans are mayabang, maybe this is true, but this I feel is because we are made of guts, sheer passion and determination. Mt. Pinatubo shook our land years ago, but we managed to stand again. The province produced numerous leaders, be it in the government, media, church, academe and civil society. We cook well, we probably earned the license of being the countrys culinary capital. We have giant lanterns and beauty queens, poets and sculptors. We are a land of creative geniuses. But for me, what makes us a truly proud and dynamic community is our ability to love fully and unconditionally. Naks. Ayun eh. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday guys! : )
