It will be held: Saturday, October 5, 2013 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Lake County Division of Transportation 600 W. Winchester Road Libertyville, Illinois · Keep items out of our Landfills · Find homes for those hard-to-recycle items laying around the house · Make a difference in your community and world · Be a part of the Recycle First, Trash Last effort! We will again be accepting a number of hard-to-recycle items for recycling and reuse including electronics, eyeglasses, CDs, DVS and Cassettes bicycles and bicycle parts, propane tanks, fire extinguishers, marine, RV and automotive batteries, paper documents for shredding, stuffed animals, clothing and textiles (in any condition gently used or other- includes sheets, towels and blankets), smoke and C02 detectors/alarms, shoes (all kinds excluding roller blades and ice skates) and more. I am just confirming my final list of acceptable items and will be sending out a flyer in the very near future. We will also be posting information on our website and sending out via Constant Contact. We will be sending something soon and hope you will help us get the word out!
