I am fully convinced, my dear brothers and sisters, that you are - TopicsExpress

I am fully convinced, my dear brothers and sisters, that you are full of goodness. You know these things so well you can teach each other all about them. Even so, I have been bold enough to write about some of these points, knowing that all you need is this reminder. For by God’s grace, I am a special messenger from Christ Jesus to you Gentiles. I bring you the Good News so that I might present you as an acceptable offering to God, made holy by the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:14-16 (NLT) Paul is opening up his burden for ministry to the Romans and in so doing he is identifying areas in which he believes they are weak. While at the same time encouraging them by saying these things are not out of control but you can correct them through this epistle. Reminding them that he is a special messenger from Jesus to the Gentiles and he is hoping to strengthen them through the Holy Spirit. Like Paul, many Christians, want to encourage each other by emphasizing things which are right. Paul wanted to build the people up. He did not want to tear them down. How we approach people concerning things which are not sin but just differences between people may determine if the work is a success or a failure. We should not make others look bad so we can look God over trivial things. We should strive to work in unity with one another. In fulfilling our call as leaders in the body of Christ we do not just preach the gospel of salvation, but we also instruct believers in how to live before God. As we teach how to live before God we should also be demonstrating this in our daily lives. Both our lives and our offerings must be acceptable to God, if we are to glorify Him. We are to wholly render our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ.
