I am getting on my soap box for just a minute because I am tired of the videos that are circulating. The division in our country and in the hearts of Americans is sadly due to the media and the hate mongers in our society. The racism is being fueled by some real nasty people and the real losers are unfortunately those of US that are falling into it. People I am seeing video after video being posted about how AWEFUL the police are but look at these stats.... A total of 1,501 law enforcement officers died in the line of duty during the past 10 years, an average of one death every 58 hours or 150per year. There were 100 law enforcement officers killed in 2013. On average, over the last decade, there have been 58,261 assaults against law enforcement each year, resulting in 15,658 injuries. Im not justifying anyones death and Im not saying that its okay to kill what I am saying is that change starts with us. You are not getting justice for the families that are grieving over the death of their sons by posting videos all you are doing is fueling a fire. I have many law enforcement friends that are good respectable men and women that do not deserve all of the cop hate bashing. Peace yall...after all that is what we say we want. Right?
