I am getting ready to head to bed,but I felt the need to comment on how sad I feel. Last week it was 2 young people shot to death here in our own county. Now it is a young man who grew up around here shot to death in Sarasota , Florida. I recently asked someone what was wrong with people had they lost the capacity to love one another, but its more than that. People dont give a second thought about taking someones life let alone loving another person. Not only does it make me extremely sad, but in the same tone it is very frightening. Those are our young people acting this way. I do realize it is a small number of them, but is the number going to continue to grow? And what about the newest fad...them setting themselves on fire? Surely I am not the only person saddened and disturbed by this. Im ready to go back to the time when fun was playing kick the can, ghost in the graveyard, and tag( not on the computer) and young people didnt run around shooting other young people on a routine basis.
