I am getting tired of this nearly sas-bahu kind of dramatization of departure of Sachin Tendulkar. NO.. I dont think he is the greatest. I will trade 10 Sachins for one man with qualities that Dravid showed in coming to aid of my nation and I will pay 5 times more to see Lara in full flow, and if I am to look at rationality of numbers I must go for Kallis any day. Sorry, I just dont wish to see any kind of statistics, as a dark day with India in dump (something my generation saw lot more than the new-gen) my instinctive reaction on watching Sachin taking a guard had never been that of hope. The man never inspired (but for few occasions that have now become a statistical rarity by the sheer number of innings he played) me when facing adversity as a Dhini or Virat would. If Sachin is the greatest, cricket has a long way to go.
