I am going through a really rough patch for the past few weeks, and I was not expecting situations to be as difficult as it is. As more and more issues that needs to be dealt with enter the scene, I was spiritually exhausted and physically drained even before Freedom Day yesterday. However, after yesterdays event as well as todays sermon, the prayers and the words of encouragement that I have received over the weekend, I am believing that good things are already prepared at the end of this dark tunnel that I am currently just passing by. I am really honored to celebrate life with friends and family who encourage you and also challenge you to take that greater measure of faith despite the circumstances that are happening. I am reminded by a friend today who felt encouraged by one of the recent editions of Food For Thought and to never stop writing regardless of the situation that I am going through as it will bless different people through different seasons in their life. It has become another affirmation that the seed sowed is bearing fruit not just to friends and family who read it, but also to myself as I continue to write and grow under His grace. As there is an upcoming storm ahead as my dad goes for heart bypass surgery on Thursday morning, but I am already believing that God will provide the sufficient amount of blood donors that are tailor-made to the requirements and divinely-appointed by Him at this point of time. Rather than focusing on the storm, I am already looking at the rainbow-draped horizon at the end of it as I am believing that I will celebrate more years of Christmas with my earthly dad, as well as a lifetime of faith with my Heavenly Dad.
