I am going to Bulgaria In September. I already have my ticket, so this letter is not a request to help me pay for my trip. Mike Angelov, our Bulgarian son, moved back to Bulgaria the end of April. He will be my interpreter and is arranging my speaking schedule. I hope to preach at least 20 times in a variety of churches and small groups. I do ask for your prayers. There are so many needs in that impoverished country. Christians in general, and pastors in particular, are facing severe financial burdens. I am taking some money to distribute to a few pastors and Christian workers. I know I cant help everyone, but it hope to provide money for the pastors to buy firewood for the winter and other critical needs. If you would like to help with that, the money would be used wisely and for definite needs. Of course, none of the money would be for me.
