I am going to attempt this again, as I think I could word it - TopicsExpress

I am going to attempt this again, as I think I could word it differently. This is Bud, he is an incredibly loyal, loving, playful family dog. My 3 year old plays with him constantly, I have caught her (and stopped her) playing dress-up with him, he was a willing participant. She takes him everywhere with her, I wouldnt allow that it if I felt at all the he was a danger to her. He is not. As well as an amazing family dog, bud is a guard dog, and has trust issues, so needs a family who is going to play with him, walk with him and have him truly apart of their pack, and be sensitive to him -- lots of pets and love for reassurance that he is safe. In my last post I think I might of made it sound like he needed a lot of work -- that is only if you do NOT want a guard dog. Otherwise he is wonderful just the way he is, when you dont want him to be on guard, he is quickly settled with YOUR reassurance. I get him to sit and stay while I great visitors, and he is happy to greet them when I invite him to. He just needs to be told it is safe I have had him around large groups of people (my daughters 3rd birthday party, family reunion) He was amazing. He is very obedient and smart. I will go over the commands I use with him with any potential families. WHAT HE NEEDS: fully fenced yard that wouldnt have unpredicted visitors passing through, play time, playmate (another dog) -- although not mandatory, I think it is good for him as our dog Sophie and him have developed quite the friendship. Most of all, a loving family that will play with him, and give him the family he needs and deserves. Absolutely NO rough housing, or aggression towards him, if there are children in the home they just need to be respectful of animals, I dont think he would take to kindly to his tail or ears being pulled at. He loves to go on quad/bike runs, we would love to see him go to an outdoorsy family. Please only comment if you or you think someone you know can provide him a family. Thank-you.
