I am going to be brutally honest and say, there are some nights when the conversation around my dinner table leaves me feeling like an unwilling participant/spectator at a science fiction nerd convention. .... Tonight was one of those nights. I tried to keep up ( truly I did ) but my slow mind could never really comprehend if they were talking about Dr.Who, The Hobbit or Star Wars. In fact, they seemed to be talking about them all together. It was a Timey-Wimey sort of fellowship that it truly would have taken the force and possibly a sonic screw driver to figure out! I then look over at my five year old ( frown of concentration firmly in place ) and seeing him taking it all in, I ask him his thoughts. ( I figure if I have to go to Crazy Ville, Im taking him with me. ) He looks at me with his very deep thinking Dalton face and says, You know what Im frustrated about? Why did Lego Pirates have to ruin Barbosa?! ~ And as Anthony walks in the door a bit later, finally home from work, I am reminded once again that these children ( every single one of them ) are most definitely their fathers children
