I am going to be soooo ecstatic when this Ferguson and Michael Brown situation has died down. I do not speak out about my views on facebook normally, HOWEVER, I am outraged by this photo. This is a prime example of the ignorance in our country. There are many many things wrong with this picture. Of course there is the obvious that Michael Brown did not simply walk up to a police officer and raise up his hands and then proceeded to get shot 6 times. He assaulted an officer. This is a fact. That officer then made a judgement call. I am not in the position to say it was a good or bad call, but when you assault an officer you should know that you are putting yourself in a position to get hurt. These men carry guns for a reason. I will also mention that it is not solely the job of law enforcement to gun down every murderer and criminal. It is our court systems job to decide the fate of these criminals. Comparing these four situations is simply ignorant.
